Robot 2.0
With an estimated budget of 543 crores, production time of 3
years and a team of over 3000 technicians worldwide, 2.0 is the most
anticipated movie of the year. It is India’s most expensive film to date and is
dubbed in 13 other languages. Unlike the CGI in the first part Enthiran, which
was criticized for being mediocre, the visual effects in the upcoming film look
pretty decent. A little over the top, to be honest. The first part ended with
the government ordering Vaseegaran (Rajinikanth) to dismantle Chitti, after the
havoc he creates in Chennai for his love interest. Before the end credits
rolled, we saw Chitti in a museum, where he was kept for public exhibition.
Now, looks like he has been called back to duty by the same
government to fight the mysterious super-villain (Akshay Kumar), who could be a
scientist who crosses over to the dark side after a personal loss. And being
directed by Shankar we can expect a lot of surprising turns in the movie. Robot
2.0 is scheduled to release on 29th November.
